Michael Chavez

Michael Chavez is working as an Associate Attorney at Jane Wesley Brooks Family Law.

Michael Chavez graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He then attended University of La Verne College of Law, where he was President of the Student Bar Association, and participated in the San Bernardino Appellate Clinic. There, while under the supervision of an attorney, he represented clients in need of legal assistance. Michael was sworn into the California State Bar in May of 2024.

Michael’s passion to help others drew him to the legal field, more so to family law. He understands how daunting the legal system can be and wants to help those seeking legal aid while experiencing what is likely the most difficult time in their life. During his time with JWB Family Law, he has represented clients in various custody disputes, child and spousal support modifications, and assisted his clients in obtaining a divorce.

During his free time Michael enjoys a variety of outdoor activities like hanging out at the beach and going on long distance runs all throughout San Diego.
