Senior Associate Attorney – JWB Family Law

Position Overview: JWB Family Law is in search of an experienced Senior Associate Attorney with profound expertise in family law. The ideal candidate will have a CFLS designation, demonstrate leadership abilities, advanced legal proficiency, and a deep commitment to guiding families through their legal journeys with compassion and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead representation for clients in complex family law cases including highly contentious divorce, business valuations, income analysis for support reports, Restricted Stock Unit and Stock Options division reports, Analyze QDRO division, child custody disputes, other property division, and spousal support.
  2. Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys, helping to shape the firm’s next generation of legal talent.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  4. Engage in advanced legal research and stay abreast of current family law regulations and significant case rulings.
  5. Strategize and collaborate with the legal team to ensure favorable outcomes for clients.
  6. Participate in firm management decisions, contributing to the growth and direction of the practice.

Compensation:

  • Fully fund employees 401K with a safe harbor contribution of 3% of their gross earnings each year.
  • Silver Health Insurance plan is paid at 100%.
  • Three weeks accrued PTO and ten paid court holidays each year.
  • Forty hours of sick time per year.
  • Attorneys have the option of working from home one to two days a week after probation period.
  • Attorney Bar dues, Liability Insurance and all approved MCLE courses paid.
  • Paid parking in the building.

Law Clerk – JWB Family Law

Position Overview: JWB Family Law is seeking a detail-oriented Law Clerk to assist our team of legal professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic and dedication to upholding the principles of family law. 1-7 years experience in a Family Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, motions, and correspondence.
  2. Conduct legal research and provide summaries on relevant case laws and statutes.
  3. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is current and easily accessible.
  4. Coordinate and schedule court hearings, meetings, and client consultations.
  5. Liaise with court officials, opposing counsel, and clients as necessary.
  6. Stay updated with current regulations and trends in family law.

Compensation:

  • Fund employees 401K with a safe harbor contribution of 3% of their gross earnings each year.
  • Contribute $500.00 a month directly towards the company offered Health Insurance plans.
  • Two weeks accrued PTO and ten paid court holidays each year. This increases to three weeks paid vacation after five years of employment.
  • Provide forty hours of sick time per year.
  • Paid parking in the building.

Associate Attorney – JWB Family Law

Position Overview: JWB Family Law is actively seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with a passion for family law. The ideal candidate will be a driven legal professional, equipped to handle cases with diligence, compassion, and a keen understanding of the intricacies of family law. 1-7 years experience in a Family Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Represent clients in family law proceedings, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and related matters.
  2. Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  3. Conduct legal research to stay updated on current family law regulations and precedents.
  4. Collaborate with senior attorneys to devise case strategies.
  5. Engage in negotiations to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.
  6. Provide legal consultations, offering sound advice and options to potential and existing clients.

Compensation:

  • Fully fund employees 401K with a safe harbor contribution of 3% of their gross earnings each year.
  • Silver Health Insurance plan is paid at 100%.
