Michael Chavez

Michael Chavez is working as a Law Clerk at Jane Wesley Brooks Family Law.

Michael Chavez graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He then attended University of La Verne College of Law, where he was President of the Student Bar Association, and participated in the San Bernardino Appellate Clinic. There, while under the supervision of an attorney, he represented clients in need of legal assistance. Michael graduated from law school in May of 2022, passed the California Bar Exam in May of 2023 and is currently awaiting approval of his application to the California State Bar.

Michael’s passion to help others drew him to the legal field, more so to family law. He understands how daunting the legal system can be and wants to help those seeking legal aid while experiencing what is likely the most difficult time in their life.

During his free time Michael enjoys being outside, from hanging out at the beach, to going on long distance runs throughout San Diego.
