What Our Clients Are Saying

“Outstanding attorney.  Knowledgeable and trustworthy–which is very difficult to find in an attorney, in my experience. Straight to the point, efficient, excellent courtroom presence. She cares about families, and I appreciated that very much. Prior to Jane, I was rudely awakened as to what can happen when you walk into a courtroom with inadequate representation.   She was the third attorney I hired, and I couldn’t be more relieved.  She lifted a weight off my shoulders and a burden off my heart. She cared.  She also went up against difficult and aggressive counsel on the other side and quickly shut down the crafted and deceptive nature of their arguments.   She always kept my son’s best interest. I am very grateful for Jane and would absolutely recommend her.” ~ Angelyn F., San Diego, CA

The Importance of the CFLS Designation

A Certified Family Law Specialist, or CFLS, is an attorney who has obtained certification in the standards of California family law and demonstrated optimal legal competence. Attorneys who obtain this certification have specific expertise in all aspects of family law, which includes divorce or the dissolution of marriage, child and spousal support, child custody, and temporary restraining orders, among other areas of emphasis.

Not every attorney practicing family law has obtained this certification. In fact, the designation remains relatively rare—there are fewer than 2,000 CFLS attorneys in California and fewer than 200 in San Diego.
